The "Value" of a Travel Agent.....
I don't want to come accross as a bragger. I am here as a service for the client. I have been a travel agent over 10 years and always make sure I take any trainings to help better myself. Price sometimes isn't always everything. But what about value? As a travel agent I am here for you I will look for the lowest rate based off of what your needs and preferences are. I am here to coordinate all aspects of your trip. I work for you the client not the supplier. "The value of using an agent is that he or she works to tailor your individual travel needs to suit your travel budget and find information that you can't."
I also offer suggestions on things to do at your destination before you go; such as sight seeing, shopping and dining. I am also here for you if something goes wrong while on vacation. I would work with the vendor to help find the best solution.
There are so many travel sites out there that are all about the lowest rate. So then what you get is..... landing at your destination in the middle of the night staying miles away from where you actually wanted to be. So now your trip is not all about the experience and amazing memories created; it is now about the inconveniences and memories you don't necessarily want to remember. All of this to go with the cheapest rate.
I hope you will remember this for the next time you are ready to start planning a vacation, because I want you to have that wonderful memorable trip. Please feel free to send me an email or call so we can discuss your vacation plans in detail.
Thank you,
RoxAnne Taylor

Great points of view about cruising!
Cruising you can visit multiple destinations, only have to unpack once and not have to worry about food.
http://talkinship.blogspot.com/2011/01/how-i-fell-in-love-with-cruising.html?showComment=1296873467159#c9074354482517453419
Cruises offer so much to do. Imagine sampling the world’s most beautiful places, great cuisine & some colorful beaches. Learning the culture & history of different destinations & how about family fun & relaxation? Cruise lines offers it all! Fun for all ages, day/night entertainment for both adult & children, all you can eat food, on board activities such as rock climbing, bingo, theater shows, casinos, golf & let’s not forget that you can get off at your destination & find even more to do!
http://donstravel.wordpress.com/
Cruise vacations are such a great value. Their almost all-inclusive nature allows you to relax knowing your meals and entertainment are already covered. The ease of visiting multiple destinations without having to pack and unpack for each is an added bonus. The variety of entertainment and activities on board makes cruising a great choice for traveling with the extended family.

The Palazzo Hotel Review, Las Vegas Hotel Review
This all suite property in Las Vegas almost makes it so you don't want to leave your room. But of course it is Las Vegas and with so much to see and do you will leave your room (well maybe once in a while). The all suite rooms have a separate area with a large sectional couch that makes you want to sink in and watch some TV. The huge bathroom has a separate shower from the bathtub and a TV to watch while getting ready if you like.
The hotel offers 16 restaurants from casual like I love Burgers (many varieties of burger) to fine like LAVO (Las Vegas' newest celebrity haunt and Italian cuisine) dining options.
The Canyon Ranch SpaClub one of the largest of its kind in the world - over 134,000 square feet. "SpaClub offers a rich sampling of the programs and services that have made Canyon Ranch the overwhelming choice for best spa according to the readers of Travel + Leisure and Conde' Naste Traveler magazine."
So much entertainment to choose from. Shopping (or window shopping), gambling, night clubs, amazing swimming pools, spa, The Jersey Boys and more.
Having had the chance to stay at this resort I was so impressed I didn't want to leave. Words can't describe until you see for yourself and understand really what a wonderful and truly relaxing experience it is!!!

The Westin Maui Resort Review...Maui Hawaii
The Westin Maui Resort & Spa is located along the famous Ka'anapali Beach with view of Lana'i and Moloka'i. It is close to many of Maui's attractions. The people who work at the resort are so accommodating that you feel at home and relaxed. The resort itself has a vast array of activities not many venture from the resort. I look at this resort as a great moderate to nice property (won't break the bank for Hawaii standards).
One of the main attractions that stands out at this resort is an 87,000 square foot "aquatic playground." There are 5 free form swimming pools, a secluded jacuzzi, an adult only pool and a thrilling waterslide.
The beach is steps away with all its various activities like snorkeling, chartered catamaran, windsurfing and more. Plus a short walk away there is two championship golf courses and an 11 court tennis center.
There is also a kids club for ages 5 to 12 with varying activities for your child and the "Heavenly Spa" that is 15,000 square feet which has 16 treatment rooms, an outdoor message cabana, a full service salon and a yoga studio.
Rooms are clean and nice and have the famed "Heavenly Bed". Dining ranges from island favorites to gourmet delights. There are also luaus on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
I would say this resort is great for families, groups or people who enjoy active life styles. A land package here (I can get you package with air also) can run for a couple with a standard mountain view for 5 nights with a compact size car going late spring $1989 (an idea).

Kauai and the St. Regis Princeville hotel review
The St. Regis Princeville Resort located on the exclusive North Shore of Kaua'i is the focal point of Princeville at Hanalei. A luxurious haven, overlooking Hanalei Bay explore the quaint communities of Kilauea and Hanalei, ride horseback along the majestic Na Molokama mountain range or kayak the idyllic Hanalei River. Resort guests enjoy a wide range of ocean sports and eco-adventures from surf lessons, snorkeling to hiking the dramatic Napali.
Originally opened as a Starwood Luxury Brand destination in 1985, Princeville's most beautifully situated resort completed a one-year multi-million dollar renovation and reopened on September 26, 2009 as The St. Regis Princeville Resort. It has 252 guest rooms and suites that are all beautifully done.
The St. Regis Princeville steeped in grand Hawaiian heritage, is built on legendary grounds beside the emerald green Hanalei Valley and overlooks the awe inspiring Napali Coast. The area was named the “City of the Prince” after a royal visit by Hawai‘i’s Prince Albert, son of King Kamehameha IV in 1860. The resort is surrounded by five majestic mountains, a patchwork of taro farms, a wildlife refuge, equestrian paths, hiking trails, ancient sea caves and lagoons.
There is a 5,000 square foot infinity designed swimming pool situated on the ocean overlooking beautiful Hanalei Bay. And the resort's soft sand beach fronting the incredible waters of Hanalei Bay, protected by the Anini reef, the waters of the St. Regis remain calm and sheltered year round.
There are 5 different restaurants at the resort. From a casual atomsphere to very sophisticated. The island of Kauai is know for its tastes and sights, so food is as fresh as they can get at these restuarants. To patries, sandwhiches, fruits, salads, fresh fish to the amazing restaurant Kauai Grill by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten with amazing menu choices.
The resort does tend to be more upscale and prices can be higher than what you are used to. But I think that if everyone could go there at least once in their lifetime, then they will have an experience that will be so memorable that you will never want to forget. Make it a place to celebrate a special event with a loved one.
A land package for 5 nights for (I can get a air package also) 2 people staying in a garden view room traveling in late spring with a compact size car can be $3442.00 (an idea). Again this may not be somewhere you will go all the time, but if you can go at leat once in your lifetime...what an experience of a lifetime you will create!

To Cruise ..... or Land Vacation packages?
As a travel agent who specializes in cruising and land packages I like to watch different travel media, news and trends of these niches closely. But not cruising is not for everyone and land packages are not for everyone.
Cruise trips are becoming one of the most popular vacation choices around. After all, what can be more relaxing than lazing on the deck of a large sea cruiser, the waves lapping gently below you, with glorious sunshine and all your needs met by friendly cabin crew. Not to mention some of the exotic locations that are only reachable by water. With great entertainment, food and activities right at your fingertips.
Land vacations there are a couple of varieties; all inclusive and not. All inclusive types of trips are really pretty much in Mexico and some of the Caribbean. And with your all inclusive package saves you time money and stress including your meals drinks and entertainment. Otherwise most other destinations in the world are a vacation package. This may suit those who like to explore and don't want to be tied down to the resort. These are all things to consider when you start planning a vacation.
I see both of these niches growing and gaining more popularity. Are you planning a group, family, honeymoon or just a vacation in general? Let me be the one to help you with your decissions. Prices are great right now for a lot of destinations. Travel is coming back so rates may go up, so don't wait.
